ABOUT US
The Honiton Twinning Association was formed by Honiton Town Council in 1973 when Honiton became the twin town of Mezidon-Canon in France.
In 1987 we gained a second twin town when we joined with the town of Gronau (Leine) in Germany
Members of the association enjoy regular visits to both Gronau and Mezidon and we are always keen to receive return visits from our twin towns.
Our members meet formally four times every year. We also have a varied programme of social events and activities. These include country walks, pub lunches and social meetings with our friends from Axminster Twinning Association.
Formal meetings take place at The Beehive (Dowell Street) in January, April, July and October. Members pay an annual subscription of £10.
